Tibetan Singing Bowl etched Om Mani Padme Hum symbols, carved on the inside
This black Etched Tibetan Meditation Singing Bowl is handcrafted in Nepal with bronze and is beautifully crafted. This singing bowl is 2.75 x 4.75”. This beautifully casted singing bowl creates excellent vibration and a quality sound when rubbed around the sides with a wooden mallet.
Singing bowls are used in yoga, music therapy, sound healing, and religious ceremonies. In the Buddhist tradition, they are played to signal the beginning and the end of silent meditation cycles. Tibetan bowls emit harmonious tones.
Like a bell, the tone is produced by striking the side of the bowl with a wooden mallet. By running the mallet around the bowl - only with slight pressure - a pure tone will eventually rise. When this happens, the bowl is said to sing - hence its name. The vibrations & sound of the singing bowls can produce beneficial changes in the body by reducing stress, opening & balancing the chakras, harmonizing the cells, and can even stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves.
Let yourself relax, center yourself and bring your mind back home when you are playing with the Singing Bowl. Hold it on the open palm of your hand and tap it or keep playing around the rim, observing the vibration & sound as it goes along.
● Tibetan bowls use the power of harmonics to help with meditation - Relax body and mind
